Cosa rappresenta la Svizzera per te?

La Svizzera è il contesto in cui mi è semplice vivere il mio quotidiano. La mia vita qui è molto diversa  da quella dei miei amici coetanei che sono rimasti in Italia. Chi è rimasto si è dovuto accontentare con lavori  che non amano, che hanno dato loro uno stipendio minimo e che non consente loro di costruire. Tutto quello che ho è mio, costruito con sforzi ed impegno. Questa opportunità mi è stata data qui. La Svizzera è la mia seconda casa.

Cosa rappresenta l’Italia per te?

L’Italia rappresenta le mie origini e la mia casa. È il posto in cui mi sento protetta, ma è una realtà molto difficile che a volte rigetto. Non mi identifico in come si è sviluppato il paese, un modo chiuso ed ottuso.

What does Switzerland mean to you?

Switzerland is the context in which it is easy for me to live my daily life. My life here is very different from that of my friends of the same age who stayed in Italy. Those who stayed had to accept jobs they did not like, which gave them a minimal salary and did not allow them to build. Everything I have is mine, built with effort and commitment. This opportunity was given to me here. Switzerland is my second home.

What does Italy mean to you?

Italy represents my origins and my home. It is the place where I feel protected, but it is a very difficult reality that I sometimes reject. I don’t identify with the way the country has developed, a closed and obtuse way.
