One more image about trees…

I took this image on the Greek island of Paros during my stay there from February the 28th until May the 6th 2004.

It is a cypress trunk, a huge cypress trunk. The stone you see in the photograph was (and probably still is) stuck in the trunk itself. The tree grew up and decided to take the stone and hold it in this fantastic hug for the rest of its life…
