Morocco – A journey to the south

Between January 2011 and January 2012 I went to the south of Morocco. I travelled by car from Marrakech to Guelmim and tried to record on his b&w film all the sensual inputs I received from the external environment.

A journey is something suggesting passage from one place to another. I went from “my” Europe to Africa, from the North to the South. Every single shot is not just a simple way to record a moment, but it is a pause to reflect on your longest journey: on your life.

This work became an exhibition held  at the Galerie Mohammed Drissi in Tanger (Morocco) in January 2014.
