I met Father Francesco for the first time two years ago. He has been very open since the beginning and presented to me people I could photograph for my “Hidden Identity” project. On a Sunday afternoon, I decided to go to the Parrocchia dell’Ascensione in Prato during the Mass. I wanted to see how the atmosphere was there and see if I could take a good portrait of Father Francesco. I walked in the church. One of these modern church with concrete, bricks and wood you usually don’t expect to see in Tuscany. People were praying. People of both Italian and Chinese origins.
An amazing light was passing through a window and falling on the main altar. What a fantastic moment to take a portrait of Father Francesco.
